At The Meadows Public School we use the School Bytes parent portal app to make communication and admin easier for families. These tools help you:

• record absences.
• give consent for school events
• make payments quickly and securely
• view academic reports
• stay up to date with school news and events

Our parent portal apps

Registering on the School Bytes App

1. Open the Parent Portal
   Launch the School Bytes app and select the Parent Portal option.

2. Click on Register
   Tap on the Register button to create your account.

3. Enter Your Details
   Use the same email address that you have provided to the school. Enter your name and create a secure password.

4. Verify Your Email
   Check your inbox for a verification email from School Bytes and click the link to confirm your registration.

5. Log In
   Return to the app, enter your email and password, and log in to your Parent Portal.

6. Explore the Features
   Once logged in, you can:

   • Make payments online
   • Record student absences
   • View school events and announcements
   • Access other useful information

Linking Students to Your Account

1. Log in
   After creating your account, log in to the School Bytes Parent Portal.
2. Link Your Students
   You can now link your account to all children who attend schools that use the School Bytes platform.
3. Automatic Matching
   When you add a student, the system automatically matches the information you provide with the details already stored in the school’s database.
4. Confirm the Link
   Once matched, simply confirm the link. Your child will now appear in your parent portal dashboard.
5. Repeat if Needed
   If you have more than one child at different schools using School Bytes, repeat the linking process to connect them all to your account.
