Schools as Community Centres (SaCC)

The Schools as Community Centres (SaCC) program is a NSW Department of Education initiative that supports families with children from birth to eight years. The program focuses on the importance of the early years for children’s development and assists parents and caregivers in their role as their child’s first teacher. By working in partnership with schools and local community organisations, SaCC strengthens community connections that contribute to positive outcomes for young children.

SaCC provides free programs that support early learning, promote wellbeing, and build strong relationships between families, schools, and the wider community.

At The Meadows, our SaCC program is led by Madhur Vani, who coordinates a wide range of engaging early learning sessions, parent programs, and community events. These opportunities are welcoming, inclusive, and designed to help children learn, play, and thrive alongside their families.

All families in our community are welcome to participate-no enrolment at The Meadows is required. We encourage families to connect, meet others, and access valuable support in a friendly and supportive environment.
